Red Wing

This past weekend my family and I took a trip to Red Wing, Minnesota. We went up there because it was my parents’ anniversary. I didn’t want to be up there without anyone around my age so I called my dad a few days before we were going to go and asked him if my friend Tyler could come with and he said it was fine. That Friday I headed home for the football game and to pack my stuff up for the long weekend. That night I went to the football game with some of my buddies and then we went to one of their houses and hung out. Finally Saturday morning came it was about eight o’ clock when I woke up. I got in my car and drove home, packed up my stuff, threw it in my car and I was ready to go. All we had to do now is wait for Tyler. He showed up at my house at about eleven o’ clock, we loaded his stuff up and we were off.  When we got to Red Wing the first thing that we did was go golfing. I haven’t been golfing in a while so it wasn’t a very pretty sight, but all and all it was fun and we saw a bunch of different kinds of animals on the course. After we were done golfing we went to the hotel/casino, checked in, took are bags up stairs, and parked the car. I got back up to the room and I was feeling pretty hungry so we decided to order a pizza, after destroying the pizza we decided to go and relax in the hot tub. We sat in the hot tub for about an hour then we decided to go gamble a little bit. We got to the casino we walked in and started looking for a machine that we wanted to play. Finally we found one and we sat down and started playing. We played for about a half hour and I had already lost twenty dollars, but on the other hand Tyler had made ten dollars. We played for about three hours or so then decided to call it a night. We left the casino and headed for the room. We got to the room got ready for bed, laid down and we were out. The next morning we woke up at ten and we had to be checked out at eleven so we packed our stuff up and went to the casino for a bit. While in the casino Tyler and I only played one game and of course I lost my twenty dollars and Tyler ended up making forty. Tyler cashed out and we took off for home. We got back to my house, slowly started packing up my stuff for school, after I was all packed up we left for La Crosse, when we got their we relaxed and watched football for the rest of the night. I had a good time this weekend with my family and Tyler even though I lost around fifty dollars it was still a good time and it’s always nice to spend some good quality time with your family and the people you love.
